General description of the activity

The aim of IS.UPC is to serve society towards its transformation to sustainability through  research activities, academic programs, and using the University as a living laboratory for sustainability.

Specific areas of research energy field

Our group consists of university management staff and researchers, and we carry out applied research on energy management at the University. Since 2006 we have been carrying out a CO2 emission reduction program at the university buildings, focusing on energy management to reduce consumption. On the other hand, we intend to include other fields relating energy in the Institute’s research activity.
