Open Calls

The UPC encourages its students to participate in the calls for innovation projects of the different communities where it collaborates.

Projects must be oriented towards the commercialization of products or services, will not be fully funded and require complementary activities supported by other projects that have been completed in recent years.

EIT InnoEnergy

The sustainable energy sector always needs new products, new solutions and new services. But getting a successful and marketable product from an conceptual idea can be a long and complex task.

The EIT is looking for business with the next big innovation in the field of sustainable energy and the investment round is open all year round.

EIT UrbanMobility

Calls for project proposals, lasting one year or more, focusing on specific topics and involving different types of stakeholders, including SMEs and other partners from EIT RIS countries, will be published shortly.

EIT RawMaterials

EIT RawMaterials presents every year the opportunity to finance projects related to the field of raw materials in order to maximize opportunities in the sector and to guarantee the supply of these materials throughout Europe. Projects will be coordinated and managed through Regional Innovation Centres, called Co-location Centres.

The consortium closes this year's call for project funding on 2019 29th July.

The selection of beneficiaries of EIT RawMaterials funding will be based on the level of innovation, the strategic importance for the Innovation Community, compliance with feedback, quality and impact of specific activities carried out during 2019.

EIT Health

For the next year 2020 the EIT Health is looking for:

  • Projects that develop products and/or services that generate revenue and can therefore reach the market quickly.
  • Projects that develop new methods and/or organisational processes that do not have revenue generation as a final objective, but generate efficiency or cost savings that must be fully implemented at the end of the project.
